Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915 in Ogden, Utah. Her family was part of the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay used her ingenuous literary talents and remarkable abilities in research to create the remarkable psycho-historical account of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled"No Man Knows My History. Its title came from a funeral address given by Joseph Smith. He claimed: "You weren't acquainted with me or my heart. There is no one who knows my past. I cannot tell it. Fawn the 29 year old woman wrote: "Since that moment of candor, at least three authors have taken up the challenge." A few have attempted to portray him as gods and others have accused him of being lying. Some have even made to make a diagnosis. But the problem is there are no documents. They're just inconsistent. The job of gathering the various documents, separating personal accounts from third-party plagiarism that is able to fit Mormon and non-Mormon stories to create the form of a coherent historical claims. It is both exciting and informative. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie committed herself professionally.
