Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. Parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on 1st February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There together with his three classmates He formed his own band called White Eskimo. Their outstanding performances allowed them to win the Battle of Bands 2009. Even though he's always been interested in the world of music, despite his passion in it, he also wanted to be a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to provide for the needs of his children, he took some time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. His band was forced to break up due to the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates for the award. However they were placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal for One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
